From Friday 27th March to Sunday
afternoon March 29th, 2015, the Moon will be comfortable in its land - sign of Cancer
- softening our emotions. Its energy invites us to enjoy family and home. The
Moon, Earth and Sun will form a 90 degree angle and we can only see its half
illumination - Phase First Quarter Crescent Moon. Collectively we can benefit
from its energy to take action and put to work the intentions we planted during
last Friday when Sun and Moon were together forming the New Moon phase when we also
had a Total Solar Eclipse.
We are in the week between eclipses
- one that passed (20 March 2015), and another that will come next Saturday
April 4, 2015 - Lunar Eclipse under the sign of Libra. Stay tuned for my
article that will be published next week.
Cancer is a Cardinal sign; which
means that it initiates change and it is categorised by water element
(dissolves to integrate). Cancer is the natural terrain of the Moon which
represents emotions. This weekend we have a moon that favours us looking after our
emotions and caring for others, to connect with our intuition. It gives us a
powerful sensitivity and empathy. It is introspection time, to watch the
feelings of those around us and be aware of our emotional reactions.
On the morning of Sunday 29 March,
Mercury - planet that is associated with the processes of thinking and
communication - harmonises with the Moon – and finds itself transiting through
the sign of Pisces. Its harmony favours us collectively giving us
a morning to tune into our intuition and link information & thoughts with
our emotions, integrate and perceive reality differently.
NOTE: If you look at the moon in Australia
the half part illuminated is the opposite part that is in my artwork. In the
southern hemisphere of our planet the illuminated part is different from the
illuminated half that we can observe in the northern hemisphere. The Cancer
Moon also represents our roots ... the Moon in my painting is inspired by the coast
of the country I was born: a Caribbean Beach of Venezuela.
Have a great weekend !!!
