This powerful eclipse marks a new
beginning to change and points to the need to merge with what & who we love
developing trust to take back the reins of our life.
Solar Eclipses occur always under
the New Moon phase when the Moon hides the Sun’s light from the Earth’s
perspective. The Nodes of the Moon are key for an eclipse to happen. In
Astronomy, the nodes are invisible mathematical points where the orbit of the
Earth around the Sun and the orbit of the Moon around the Earth cross. In
Astrology, the nodes of the Moon are associated with information about our
evolution. The South Node or Dragon’s Tail of the Eclipse represents our known
experiences. The North Node or Dragon’s Head is associated with auspicious new
energy and unknown experiences and information to move forward. Also, they are
related with the time effect of the eclipse which generally is up to six months. This eclipse is related to the
North Node of the Moon which is transiting the sign of Libra opposing the South
Node in Aries indicating the importance of balancing the polarity between
individuality and relationships.

Pluto and Mars are the rulers of
this eclipse. Pluto in Capricorn
suggests the importance of constant work with our shadows to be in charge of
our transformation, and Mars in Sagittarius gives us hope to find our own truth
following our passions. Mercury is still retrograde in the sign of Libra allowing
us a couple of days more for reflexion in relationships. And due to the harmony between Mercury in
Libra and Jupiter in Leo there is a message to keep planning rather than making
decisions straightaway.
