So far this year, the planets Pluto, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars have been transiting through Cardinal Signs, which produces change : Capricorn, Aries , Cancer and Libra respectively. On Wednesday April 23, 2014 , in Sydney - Australia , these planets form the Cardinal Grand Cross, all within 13 degrees of the sign which they transit. For example, Pluto at 13 degrees of Capricorn is opposite (180 degrees apart) Jupiter at 13 degrees of Cancer and, Pluto at the same time makes an angle of 90 degrees with Mars at 13 degrees of Libra and Uranus is at 13 degrees of Aries. That is, each of them not only forms an opposition with another of the planets related to the cross, but also forms an angle of 90 degrees from the planets they have on each side. In astrology, the angles of 90 degrees are called squares and those of 180 degrees apart, are called oppositions. These aspects generate an energy of friction and tension somehow forcing us to react and release some situations or behaviours that are not beneficial or helpful to us to replace them for others which offer us new potential to be more satisfied with our lives.
During the week, the energy can be intense as any process of change will take time, but also offers us huge potential for improving ... Like the butterfly goes through a metamorphosis of the caterpillar in the cocoon, all of us have to go through times of change and transformation to improve our society. For this reason, we must find ways to burn excess stress and energy playing sports, meditation, yoga, and taking some time to reflect during the day so we do not hurt or attack the ones who are close to us.
To better explain, on the one hand we have Pluto in Capricorn opposite Jupiter in Cancer suggesting we revise our rules, institutions and the amount of time devoted to work ... how we handle it with respect to the family, which is the basis of our society. On the other hand, technological progress that yields the energy of Uranus transiting the fighter Aries in opposition to Mars in Libra suggests the need for independence and at the same for teamwork. We are influenced to be creative and original in our own individual way of doing things but being aware of the importance of our decisions on those around us and the need to make decisions that benefit us all.
It strikes me now the dialogue which exists to extend the labour force age to 70 years and on the other hand , every day companies cut staff, removing customer service workers and replacing them with machines ... this and the lack of time to attend matters in the home, has begun to create a bias toward small industry with great original creations driven from home businesses which are promoted through social media such as Facebook , Twitter, blogger, among others.
The Sun, the most important source of energy in our solar system and in Astrology, has just changed sign. The sun began its transit through the sign of Taurus. Under its practical energy we can implement our ideas. Like the Bull, a symbol that represents the sign of Taurus, we stomp on the ground where we are in our lives, and see what ideas can materialize to put our two cents in a world that requires us to be better.
Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus which is currently transiting the sensitive sign of Pisces and is in harmony with Saturn in Scorpio, suggesting that our values are very important in prioritizing our goals. It is also in harmony with Jupiter in Cancer, indicating the priority that we give to family and Pluto in Capricorn warning us to be organised and patient which will help us in the process of transformation and change. We also get the support from the Moon, which is transiting the original sign of Aquarius allowing us to separate our emotions from our analytical process.
I take this opportunity to congratulate the people born under the sign of Taurus. Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac, represents the tenacity, patience and fortitude with deep emotion; this sign symbolises care values, principles, financial resources and material security.
People born under the sign of Taurus: have the ability to use their senses in their work; they are very artistic and appreciate good food, music, art and beauty in general; enjoy the colours, aesthetic in their environment and especially in their home; are managers by nature and know how to organise and distribute resources. However, they have the hard task of learning to develop gratitude for their material achievements; be open to change and connect with their inner self to find inner peace and releasing value of stubbornness.
The long weekend April 25th - 27th in 2014, in Sydney - Australia, we will have a beautiful harmony triangle in our universe, formed between Venus in Pisces, Saturn in Scorpio and Jupiter in Cancer offering us a beautiful time to connect with our loved ones and show them our love with tenderness. Also, the Moon will be transiting the sensitive sign of Pisces from April 24 at 16:55 until Saturday at 20:02 boosting our intuition and allowing us to connect with our emotions to let go of any fear. It makes a perfect time to prepare ourselves for the Solar eclipse that will occur on Tuesday April 29, 2014 at 16:15 Sydney - Australia at 9 degrees of Taurus.
Also, the Sun and Mercury will be transiting together through the stable sign of Taurus during the long weekend, offering us clarity of thought. Both form a harmony angle with Neptune stimulating our imagination and our ability to see the world around us to organise our priorities.
