Astrology week April 1st – 6th 2014. Sun and Uranus will meet in Aries. Mercury in Pisces & Saturn in Scorpio harmonises (trine) on April 3rd 2014. The Crescent Moon is in Gemini on Friday April 4th and Saturday 5th, 2014 inviting us to socialize. And, Venus will start its journey through Pisces on April 6th 2014.

April is a month that will present busy planetary activity, the most prominent are : a total eclipse of the Moon in the sign of Libra with the Sun in the opposite sign of Aries, which will occur on April 15; an annular eclipse of the Sun in the sign of the resources - Taurus, will happen on April 29, 2014 , and the formation of a cross of planets in our sky formed by Uranus , Jupiter, Pluto and Mars. Each of them is transiting a cardinal sign Uranus is in Aries, Jupiter is in Cancer, Pluto is in Capricorn and Mars is in Libra, suggesting that we are living in times of change.

On Wednesday April 3rd, 2014, the Sun and Uranus at 12 degrees of the brave Aries, join to spur on energy of originality and force action. Together, they can influence us to attract and inspire confidence in others; experience interesting and unusual situations that come unexpectedly when interacting in groups or through technology.

Uranus is also associated with rebellion and the sign of Aries is related with impulsiveness, suggesting that we should be careful about our behavior when we feel rejected or when someone tries to cut our freedom. The Sun represents our essence and the need to shine as individuals ... if for any reason we feel our opinion, idea or working independently is threatened, we could react impulsively. If we are aware of this energy we can choose better our battles! Especially since both ( Sun and Uranus) are at challenging angle to Jupiter , which is also associated with the desire of Freedom ... Self-control is very important to be assertive with what we propose , as well as the study of our ideas before presenting them , being careful not to be arrogant.

Mercury, the planet that represents eternal youth and Saturn representing the maturity achieved over time form an exact harmonious angle on April 3rd, 2014. Both signs are transiting water element. On the one hand, Mercury is crossing the waters dominated by Poseidon - Pisces – the sign in Astrology which governed by the Planet Neptune, influencing our thinking with fantasy and imagination. And on the other hand, Saturn is transiting the territory of the Greek underworld - Scorpio sign - ruled by the transformative Pluto. This meeting between the fast and young Mercury and, wise Saturn who knows how to use time, points out the importance of guiding our ability to make our dreams considering our reality . This is the modus operandis of the artist…

Saturn in positive contact with Mercury speaks of rebirth of something that we had in our unconscious, Pisces and Scorpio areas but also taking into account the time it takes to carry out our project. If we have an idea and analise it for long periods of time, we might eventually destroy it. If, however we organise the different stages that requires the development of our ideas and project with efficiency, handling them realistically, most likely we will conclude them.

The Moon, that wonderful celestial body that inspires many artists and influences our emotions, is transiting the sign of conversationalist Gemini until Sunday April 6, 2014, at 07:41 am, when it shifts to the affectionate sign of Cancer. Also, the moon begins to have light in its growing phase, leading to the inauguration of projects. By passing through the sign of Gemini, it promotes the dissemination of messages and information of public interest. But, there may be a tendency to scatter our attention by having curiosity for all that happens around us.

However, we need to protect our verbal responses when we feel threatened for any reason, because Uranus is transiting very close to the Sun. The Sun and Uranus combination is electric energy that can lead us to be impulsive. Moreover, both are at challenging angles with Jupiter in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn, indicating the importance of adjusting our opinions to neither avoid falling into desires for control or manipulation, nor have an arrogant attitude to convey our message.

On Sunday, April 6, 2014, Venus switches to the sublime and dreamer Pisces, stimulating our compassion for human beings without distinction and permeating our environment with romanticism. The Moon in Cancer and Venus in Pisces is a beautiful combination to enjoy our loved ones, visit family and prepare a special meal to make them feel loved. Both remind us that small acts of caring and thoughtfulness are essential to happiness. Happy weekend!
