Astrology Events for October 2014

We begin the month of October 2014, a month which will talk about changes in our relationships and the need to deeply connect with our passions, our fears and desires to regain our strength. Next week on October 8^th, 2014 at 21:52 in Sydney – Australia time, a Total Lunar Eclipse will occur with the Sun in Libra which represents union and cooperation and the Moon in Aries influencing within us the need to emotionally defend our individuality and our rights. As this eclipse occurs at 15 degrees of both luminaries - Moon in Aries close to Uranus in opposition to the Sun in Libra – it highlights the challenge between Uranus and Pluto again… They have been signaling since 2012 the need for us to check our rules, technology and finances, and break with old patterns that haven’t worked and make new rules to transform society to progress just like when they met in the 1960’s. This message combined with the polarity of this eclipse (Sun in Libra Vs Moon in Aries) shows the need for initiating individual changes but in cooperation with others to succeed.

Two weeks later, on October 24^th we will have a Partial Solar Eclipse and New Moon in the sign of Scorpio pointing to change and the need to merge with what and who we love and work with things that we don’t have control of. This information will be expanded in an article that will be published during the days around the date of this event.

Mercury - messenger of the gods in Greek mythology, which in Astrology governs our thinking and communication - is already transiting the sign of Scorpio stimulating our thinking to learn about things we cannot handle or that we have no control over. This is our last week moving forward so we need to try to speed up any work or information that we have to finish because on Sunday October the 5^th, Mercury will start a movement called "retrograde" in Astrology, which suggests time to reflect and see within us in order to discover our true motives and unconscious desires. But most of its time in this apparent reverse motion will be under the sign of Libra, indicating the importance of listening to the opinions of others and to balance the internal information that we receive around us.

Venus just began its transit through the sign of Libra, one of its fields stimulating in us a need to share. Venus transiting this harmonious sign gives us the opportunity to see through the mirror of our loved ones and to realise what we really need to improve ... remember that to achieve love we both must first define who we really are and then be able to give love! How interesting that Venus will be transiting this air sign gracefully supporting our thoughts for most of this Mercury retrograde movement, giving us the opportunity to reflect with love not only to others but to ourselves. Venus changes to the sign of Scorpio about two hours before the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio which happens next October 24^th, 2014.

Let’s take advantage of the Moon transiting the disciplined sign of Capricorn from Oct 1^st to 3^rd, 2014 to put priority in our work before we start a period of reflection on Sunday the 5^th of October. The Moon under the efficient sign of Capricorn gives us a few days to work, plan and achieve. It also favours objective introspection and emotional control to effectively deal with what we have to do.

Mars will be the last of the personal or inner planets to shift signs in October, it will start its journey through the sign of Capricorn from October 26th stimulating our ambition and directing our actions to achieve our goals.Have a great month!

Astrología Octubre 2014. un mes que nos hablará de cambios con respecto a nuestras relaciones y la necesidad de conectarnos profundamente con nuestras pasiones y con nuestros miedos y deseos para recobrar nuestra fuerza.

Comenzamos el mes de Octubre con la Luna transitando el disciplinado signo de Capricornio a partir de hoy Primero de Octubre 2014 a las 14:42 horas Sydney - Australiadel hasta el 3 de Octubre 2014 señalando la necesidad de poner prioridad en nuestras labores antes de que comience el período de reflexión el próximo domingo 5 de Octubre del corriente. La Luna bajo el eficiente signo de Capricornio nos brinda unos días para trabajar, planificar y concretar. También, favorece la introspección objetiva y el control emocional para poder abordar con eficacia lo que tenemos que hacer.

Mercurio - mensajero de los dioses en la Mitología Griega, que rige nuestro pensamiento y comunicación – ya se encuentra transitando el signo de Escorpio estimulando nuestro pensamiento para aprender acerca de las cosas que no podemos manejar o que no tenemos el control sobre ellas. Esta es su última semana en movimiento directo por lo que debemos tratar de agilizar cualquier trabajo o información que necesitemos culminar porque a partir del domingo 5 de Octubre, Mercurio comenzará un movimiento aparente denominado en Astrología “retrógrado”, el cual sugiere tiempo para reflexionar y ver dentro de nosotros con la finalidad de descubrir nuestros verdaderos motivos y deseos inconscientes. La semana que viene, el 8 de Octubre del 2014, a las 21:52 horas Sydney - Australia, ocurrirá un eclipse total de Luna con el Sol en Libra que representa la unión y la cooperación y, la Luna en Aries influyéndonos en la necesidad de defender emocionalmente nuestra individualidad y nuestros derechos. Como este eclipse ocurre a 15 grados de ambos luminarios – Luna en Aries en oposición al Sol en Libra – se activa nuevamente el mensaje del desafío entre Urano y Plutón que nos han estado señalando la necesidad de romper viejos patrones para avanzar como sociedad.

Dos semanas después, el 24 de Octubre tendremos un Eclipse parcial de Sol y Luna Nueva bajo el signo de Escorpio señalándonos cambio con respecto a lo que nos apasiona y el control que podamos tener ante ello. Esta información la ampliaré durante los días cercanos a la -fecha de estos eventos.

This Wednesday 24SEP14 at 16:13 Sydney - Australia time, a new cycle of the moon will start at 1 degree 08 minutes of the harmonious sign of Libra, offering us the opportunity to plant our intentions to boost our social life; incorporate diplomacy, tact and harmony when negotiating agreements and contracts; and be more aware about sharing in relationships, balancing our needs and those of others to benefit from each other.

Mercury is still transiting the sign of Libra influencing our thinking and communication to find ways to share our ideas while respecting the ideas of others.

Sun in Libra – September 23rd – October 23rd 2014. Happy Birthday!

On Tuesday September 23, 2014, the spring formally starts in the Southern Hemisphere. The Sun begins its transit through the sign of Libra at 12:30 pm where it will remain until 23 October 2014 at 22:57 hours Sydney, Australia. Libra is a Cardinal sign because it marks a change in seasons. 

Libra is the seventh sign of the zodiac; its astrological figure is a set of scales – the only inanimate object in the zodiac signs. Astrología fin de Semana 19-21/09/2014: Este es el último fin de semana con el Sol bajo el signo de Virgo! Aprovechemos estos días preparándonos para una de las más hermosas estaciones del año!
