Mercury, also known as Hermes from the Greek Mythology, ruler of thoughts
and communication, has started its journey through the sign of Aquarius,
stimulating originality around us.
Our environment is filled with humanitarian
spirit which is required to be fair when communicating. The energy becomes social
and allows us to present our ideas verbally or in writing to contribute to a
good cause.
There is a healthy respect around
us but only if we put effort to earn it. And
although we can indeed create ideas, once
we shape them, it will be difficult to
change them.
With a non-traditional thinking, we have a full moon in
the sign of Cancer on Thursday January 16, 2014. This is one of the most
emotional full moons that we can have during the year; it can influence us in
how we react to our environment. We can feel sensitive and we must connect with
our feelings in order to understand the mood swings that may exist when someone
special does not nourish us the way we would like.
The Sun and the Moon are in opposite signs suggesting
that there is something emotional that we need to release to make us stronger
with our emotions. The moonlight can reveal an emotional weakness that may have
been crystallized during our childhood and some how we most overcome this act
concretely and effectively to improve the way we interact.
Jupiter in Cancer reminds us that our beliefs formed in
our childhood may be the reason for our opinions. Also, Venus in retrograde
movement in the sign of Capricorn can influence us inhibiting our emotions
but as Venus is at an angle of friction with Mars, they invite us to solve any differences
we could have in the past with our partner, friend or family. And, Mercury transiting the
original sign of Aquarius supports our feelings from situations so that we can
be objective and find solutions.
Sun and Moon are male and female energies which are opposed
to finding balance and continue their path until they meet again with the new
lunar cycle (new moon). Also, Mars and Venus are two energies, male and female,
found in areas of friction suggesting that the way to achieve what you want is
sharing and acting so that we include our loved ones in our decisions.
Moreover, Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is in harmony with both Luminaries pointing to the idea that to achieve the love we want in our lives we must cultivate loyalty, fidelity and security. Saturn is transiting the sign of Scorpio, which tolerates no appearances by giving importance to the inner qualities of people and deepening respect to bonds of love.
Finally, on Friday January 17, 2014, Mercury in the sign
of Aquarius harmonises with Uranus (Ruler of Aquarius) offering us a very
creative and social weekend with interesting ideas and conversations. The Moon
is in the opposite sign of Aquarius (Leo sign) alerting us to take care no to
hurt someone’s ego with humor which may go to far… This astrological aspect
also favors commercial transactions and the opportunity to solve past problems
with an original idea. But the best of all is the ability to create unusual
ideas like the artist who goes to the beach and paints coloured umbrellas
instead of being inspired by the nature of the sea ...
